Snowy New Year's Eve Wedding in Grand Forks, North Dakota at the Masonic Center
I was able to spend New Year's Eve in my hometown of Grand Forks, ND with friends I have known my entire life celebrating the marriage and wedding of Courtney and Casey. I met Courtney when I was around 9 years old in my ballin' basketball days. (I scored one basket and it was for the other team.) We have been pals ever since, and I loved being able to be behind-the-scenes on her wedding day! Who doesn't want to shoot their friends once in awhile, right? ;)
In all seriousness, the day was beautiful. It lightly snowed and despite the temperature being a balmy -17, we were able to go outside for a bit (before all our fingers froze.) Many tears were shed over the hand-written vows between the bride and groom (myself included). And all day, Austin, their four-year-old son, lovingly and continually exclaimed, "We're getting married today!"
Congrats Courtney, Casey and Austin!
