Arizona Late Spring Wedding

Maddy and Adam were married on a hot, late spring day in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Because of relaxed COVID-19 restrictions in Arizona at the time, many family members and friends from both near and far were able to attend and celebrate their day! It was awesome to experience some normalcy, and to have the freedom to not worry about the pandemic.

Towards the end of the day, the sky started looking rather ominous. I didn’t think there would be a thunderstorm in the desert, but sure enough it did start down-pouring. 2020 no longer surprises me. When it rains on your wedding day, the tendency is to not embrace it, but Maddy and Adam were awesome and followed the videographer, Dakota, and me out into the canyon to embrace the rain. Those moments were definitely a high for me for this year. Dancing in a sun shower with the mountains in the background was so picturesque. See Dakota’s video here, and scroll down to see the photos!
