Exploring Olympic National Park with my Mermaid Friend, Josie

I took a trip to Washington to celebrate mine and my husband’s 5th anniversary. While there, we were able to witness one of my most dear childhood friends get married, and do a photoshoot with someone I really look up to: Benj Haisch. Also while in Washington, we had the opportunity to meet up with another childhood friend who attended the wedding, rent a car, and drive around the Olympic Peninsula.  I mean it was the most scenic, beautiful drive I have ever been on. We stopped at Ruby Beach, which is rocky, foggy and driftwood-filled.  It was like another world. We also stopped in the town where “Twilight” was filmed. There was a cardboard cutout of each character and a gift shop. It left a little to be desired. Nature for the win!!!!

This is my friend, Josie.  Josie, if you're reading this, I printed out large format art prints of a lot of these pictures of you.  It's not weird, right?  You're about to be plastered all over my living room.
