YMCA of the Rockies, Colorado Engagement-ish Photoshoot
Sometimes I travel!
And sometimes while traveling
I like to channel my creativity and make art.
We took a family vacation with my husband’s family to Estes Park, Colorado last summer where we stayed in the yurt village at YMCA of the Rockies at the Snow Mountain Ranch location. During our time there we hiked (ok I napped), played tennis and mini golf (ok I read a book), and biked up up up the mountainous hills of the camp (I highly disliked this part, but the views were spectacular). I had to take a lot of Dramamine (because motion sickness is my one weakness), but it was worth it! I brought the first camera that I purchased, the Canon 5D original, which is now my designated travel camera, (aren’t I fancy?!) and took some photos. I asked Noah and Sheridon (my brother-in-law and current newest sister-in-law) if they wanted to do a mini photoshoot so that I could get some creativity out. The mountains were literally calling. They gave an enthusastic “Yes!” (THEY SAID YES!) and found some random clothes in their suitcase that would work. Note: this engagement-like photoshoot is now sponsored by Noah’s Nike shorts. We headed out around sunset within the campground and then the magic happened…
