Top Engagement Photo Location in St. Paul!

This past weekend, I took engagement photos for my baby brother(!) Pierre and his amazing fiancΓ© Megan. We met in downtown St. Paul at George Latimer Central Library for the photoshoot. This building is amazing! It is historic and romantic, centered right in front of the beautiful Landmark Center and Rice Park in St. Paul. This square block within downtown St. Paul is one of my top places for engagement shoots within the Twin Cities, and my favorite location for all of St. Paul. It is also a wonderful place to consider getting married. The Landmark Center, The St. Paul Hotel, Herbies on the Park, and Rice Park all offer options ON THIS BLOCK for wedding ceremonies and receptions. It’s a great place for events!

The library inside has coffered ceilings, stone and wood floors with spiraling staircases, and other renaissance architecture. Outside, the building has huge stone steps and columns, large curved windows, and a courtyard in the back of the building with grass and trees. It is surrounded by cobblestone roads. The view from the front of the building looks toward the Landmark Center, and the view from the back of the building looks toward the Mississippi River. I mean it’s amazing. Rice Park is centered right in front with a grassy area and sidewalks to stroll around in.

If you are considering having engagement photos done in downtown St. Paul do not overlook Rice Park and it’s surrounding buildings, it’s magic.
