St. Paul Hidden Falls Proposal

Evan reached out to me a few weeks ago about proposing to his then-girlfriend Megan, and we planned this proposal by the Mississippi River. While talking through ideas, Evan and I brainstormed about possible locations and activities. (Him proposing in the water, me buried in sand until I pop out while he’s proposing.) All of my ideas involved food of some kind. Evan laughed and reminded me that people go on walks to just go on walks, not necessarily to get to eat. He was right, and the day was beautiful! I hid in the weeds like a champ, until a beachcomber started walking through and bent over looking in the sand right at the proposal spot at the exact same time as Evan and Megan were about to enter. I should have taken Evan’s idea about burying myself in sand, and that man would have had the surprise of his life…

Congratulations Megan and Evan!
